Registration 2025

Thank you for your interest in the North Boros Tidal Waves!  We're excited to start the 2025 season!  This year, we are requiring each swimmer to be registered prior to attending any practices.  Since we don't take credit cards online, we don't need you to pay now, but we do need you to complete this online registration form before bringing your swimmer to the Northgate Pool or Bellevue Pool.

  • New accounts will be sent an email confirmation message with instructions to set up a password.
  • At least one parent/guardian is required to volunteer.
  • Previously registered parents/guardians cannot be edited during registration. Please contact your team's admin to request edits.

Team Rules & Guidelines

Tidal Waves is a summer swim team and should be a fun experience for our swimmers and families. Our rules are intended to ensure everyone has a safe and pleasant season.

The NHSSL goal is: "The North Hills Summer Swim League gives children the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of competition and the rewards of sport, to improve their swimming skills, to participate in a team sport and experience camaraderie with their peers, and to compete with other local teams that share this same goal."

Team and family members and staff are expected to be respectful and well-mannered to each other and to our competitors. That includes respecting and helping to maintain the facilities and equipment we utilize for practices and for meets.

Swimmers and their family members are encouraged to bring any issues or concerns to the board immediately for quick resolution.

Parents/ guardians will not coach or instruct the team or any swimmer at a practice or meets unless under the direction of the coaches.

Swimmers and family members will demonstrate good sportsmanship. Criticizing, name-calling, the use of abusive language or gestures towards anyone will not be permitted or tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.  Cheering for swimmers is encouraged!

Coaches have final approval on meet line-ups.

Parents/ guardians will volunteer to support swim team events by signing up for a minimum of three jobs per season.

All meets will be conducted in accordance with USA Swimming rules found at www.usaswimming.com, except where specifically modified by the North Hills Summer Swim League.

Safety Rules

To ensure safety, swimmers, parents and guardians are to abide by facility rules. Running, roughhousing, pushing and dunking are not allowed. Disciplinary actions for safety infractions are:

  • First Violation: sent home and discussion with parent
  • Second Violation: sit out of next meet
  • Third Violation: suspension from team for the current season; no refund

Photography Permission

We would like your permission to use images of your swimmer(s) and you or your family on our website and affiliated social media.  If you would allow that, please read below and acknowledge.  If you do not want us to share photos of your swimmer or anyone in your family, do not check the box below.

For good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I hereby authorize Tidal Waves permission to use my likeness in a photograph in publications. I understand and agree that any photograph using my likeness will become the property of Tidal Waves and will not be returned. I acknowledge that my participation in Tidal Waves is voluntary, and I will receive no financial compensation. I hearby irrevocably authorize Tidal Waves to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute this photo for purpose of publicizing Tidal Waves programs or for any other related, lawful purpose. In addition, I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensations arising or related to the use of the photograph. I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge Tidal Waves from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
